Chucotage

In whispered interpretation or “chucotage”, the interpreter translates the speech from a language that most people attending an event are able to understand.

The style is informal and the speaker and audience too speak in a normal way, without pauses, later on the interpreter will report to the client the contents in whispered conversation and then the interpreter will translate to the audience the speaker’s words.

This type of interpretation is requested during: meetings, interviews, conferences and more in general where the people attending a meeting and the speaker speak different languages.
